GHANA SET FOR IHF CHAMPIONSHIP IN TOGO

Ghana's National Handball team are set to embark on 7 day visit to Togo for the Zone 3 West Africa Championship.  


The 'Black Fingers' travel on Sunday for the tournament slated for Monday 21st August to 27th August 2016. 


Team Ghana comprises a total of 37 players and officials who will make the trip.


National Coach George Bankole tells  SA SPORTS 360 "the tournament is a developmental programme by IHF (International Handball Federation) for youth development".


The Championship features West African neighbours including the host nation Togo, Cameroun, Ivory Coast, Benin and others. 


Winner of the zone will meet other Zonal Champions at an inter zonal championship to be held in Europe early next year.
